Where does Funding For Prop 8 Come From? The Dishonor Roll

We present the Californians Against Hate Dishonor Roll. We want the country to know who is funding the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign to take away marriage equality in California. So right up until the November 4th election, we will post all major donors on our web site. These are all donors who gave $5000.00 and over, many way over! Latter Day Saints Fight Against Prop 8

The LDS Church in a statement this summer urged members to support the ballot measure; the church since has encouraged active campaigning by members in California and until this week, Californians living in Utah and other states.

Californians Against Hate, a group opposed to Proposition 8, claims that 59,000 Mormons have contributed more than $19.15 million to the Yes on 8 campaign. Disgusting, especially in this economic time when many don't have basics like health insurance!

Barack Obama Opposes Prop 8, the anti-marriage amendment

Oback states in this copy of one of his speeches, "That is why I support extending fully equal rights and benefits to same sex couples under both state and federal law. That is why I support repealing the Defense of Marriage Act and the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy, and the passage of laws to protect LGBT Americans from hate crimes and employment discrimination. And that is why I oppose the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states. " - Go Barak Go!
